The two judges could not agree for the BEST IN SHOW slot so Colin Ashmore was called in to judge them, this made it very exciting for both ehibitors and spectators
SPECIAL CLASSES - MR COLIN ASHMORE I had the pleasure of being invited to be the referee for the Deerhound Club Limited show & judging three Stakes classes. I had been very much looking forward to this appointment & was not disappointed by the very good entries given to me by the exhibitors in the three Stakes classes. The show itself was very well organised & the weather was good allowing judging to take place outside, I must complement the organisers on picking a good venue & delivering a party atmosphere with good food, friendly people, good facilities & plenty of goodies to be won. The exhibitors must be complemented on the very sporting way in which they supported the decisions on the day. I really enjoyed my day with the Club, the exhibitors & their dogs. I was called upon as referee to decide between the best dog & bitch, complements must go to the two breed judges in putting up two quality dogs of good breed type & soundness. |
