2007

We have been looking for some time to show a different smaller hound. We have watched the Basset Fauves and have fell in love with them. They will, I am sure, present different challenges being a smart french hunting hound. Rosie is now with us and a delight. Within 2 hours of coming here she was clambering over a small dry stone wall, we had been warned they were escape artists so watch this space......

Rosie is now being trained and is doing really well, she seems to love being handled and played with.

A new little Fauve has been purchased from France - she is staying with Deerhound Friends until we can get the paperwork done and her name is BEKKY which is short for Baccarat bred by Mr Fillioux. We will add her pedigree asap, for those interested. Ideally she is another pet hound which will keep Rosie company as my elderly Dashund is very stressed.

2008

Both girls are now 2 years of age and have grown into nice well adjusted and fun hounds. Rosie has been mated and Bekky is at last being trained for the show ring, we hope to do a few open shows this year and Hayley will be handling her. Watch this space. At the moment Beks is a tad fat so lots of walking is on the cards. We wil try and get some pictures of the training sessions as they progress. With the help of Pat Beard and Edith we hope to have the girls in the ring this year. Becky has been mated her to Pat Beards's French imported dog who has already given us a lovely litter with Rosie. We hope to run on a nice male from this union to develop our line.

Rosie has produced a lovely litter and has been the best mum ever. We have been Lucky in finding some super homes and two of these puppies will be shown. We look forward to watching their progress and wish the new owners good luck.

Becky has been mated to a french imported hound and there is a litter due august 2008

Both litters in 2008 reared well and Cleo Kilbourne Anais made her first judging debut at Humberside Hound in November under breed specialist Ruth Farrell (Basler) winning the Junior Class Best Puppy Group 4. We are looking forward to seeing her in the flesh. Many congratulations to Thelma especially as Clio is her first Fauve.

2009

4 more girls have joined the pack as Pat Beard is finishing with Fauves we have taken them on. More later
