Having Alice it was soon apparent we needed another hound so we were lucky enough to purchase from Rachel Hood- Wright a male Selwood Swift, we called him Robbie. This was during the time Parvovirus was rampant and we were without the inoculations. Robbie died at the age of 16 weeks and Rachel kindly offered us Skylark at 6 months of age having ran two bitches on. Skylark soon settled into our family and produced Ch Kilbourne Shamus who proved to be a very important stud dog. Skylark in the photograph is a Junior (under 18 months of age). Lark was the most docile of creatures but was incredibly fast and enjoyed the coursing but was never very keen on being shown. Skylark died at home with us at the age of 13 years.
